need help with cables and stuff

ok, here's my situation. I have a budget Numark mixer, and I want an effects box. I've found a really good deal for an Alesis Ineko, but I'm not sure if everything will work together. Would it be possible to connect my mixer to the effects box, and then connect the effects box to my stero system?

Also, in the descritpions for the Ineko effects box, it says "Two 1/4" mono jacks Inputs". Does this mean the sound will be become mono? or is it that 2 mono = stero?

Yeah you should be OK. You will need to buy an adapter or two as the mixer will have RCA phono connectors and the effects box has Jacks.
Any consumer electrical store should stock them.
Or try studiospares or similar online.

Jacks almost always run on mono (well 1/4" do anyway), but so does only one side of a stereo cable so in effect there is no difference.

If you can't find em anywhere I have a couple of jack to rca cables lying around from my producing days that I could send you in return for some spanish cigars or similar PM me
