well the place closed a while ago and its gonna reopen at the end of april with new owners...

the club will be called System and will have 2 rooms...

now I have been asked to play again... but here are what I want

This time I want to be paid X$ for 2h... or 2X$ for the night(5h)
I want to play what I want, when I want. I'm a DJ .. not a jukebox.

Well charlie... if the club caters to mainstream hiphop/top40/benny bennassi... ur gonna have to abide to that i think.

unless they want u to open for the place u can play some house or wtvr.

100$hr is a reasonable rate i think. but from past experiences ull get like 70% of wat u asked

Please Charlie, never give into the top 40 hip hop crap. Play what you you like, if they don't like it, well screw them.

way i see it... they let him try and do his thing... if they do like it he'll leave...

guess one of us really needs to open a club or something to help charlie out and louis... work on their talent.

Well when I played there before I was opening the club with progressive... and I did 2 short sets of pumping beat between hip hop...

I can't play what I don't like because I simply don't buy the records I don't like. SO its either I play my stuff or its nothing.


ok now I they offered me (3X)/2 $ for 1h and a half.
I would be sharing the night with who they think is a good dj (jukebox) and this guy is paid near 10X$ for the night. (apparently that dj can bring a big crowd, thats why he's well paid)
at that price... I would play anything.
anyways... if they approove my things and want to hire me... its better be no bullshit, and with time I could show them that they don't need to have that other dj... lol

but I don't know... I don't feel like being screwed once again.
I have other gigs coming up this summer and if EXtreme don'T want my stuff.. well they can go to hell

because there r now more ppl on TA n more gatherings n shit (no mofo fast is in town) if ur djin day falls on a good day when we dont have exams n shit, i think u'll have a surprisingly large number of us there.....
