Hey.

-Good catchy intro with the percs.
-The next sound that comes in is cool but could use some work and some automation.
-Mmm, I love the chord you have going on .
-Theres the synth again, good rythm.
-Bassline is good. I would automate that synth so that you get some lower frequencies in there (filter automation) when the bass comes in. That would make it sound 10x better .
-Seems a bit repetative. Throw in about 2 or 3 more 8 bar or 12 bar patterns for your melody.
-Outro is nice and clean with that nice chord.

Overall, I think the track is decent but has a lot of potential as well. Just make some changes to your melody synth. You dont want it to sound so thin and brittle, you want it big and strong, something people will recognize and say 'OH YES, thats Back To France coming on!', instead of 'oh, hey, is this that one track, Back To... eh, somethign or other, doesnt matter.' I really think this track has potential though. It seems a bit over compressed for my tastes as well but I also know thats a fairly popular sound as well with the likes of some of Tiestos and Eric Prydzs songs. Keep working on it and youll have a great track.

Cheers,
Zac

really like it! nice bassline and drums...love the melody, HATE the synth. just like the above post...change the synth, (make it phatter with some eqing, etc. has the potential to be really good, if you can take the time to master the main synth sound, you'll have a winner!!!

i would agree to that it does sound a bit over-compressed, sounds a bit hollow.

edit: i think i'd disagree with the last comment on the repetition factor...house is all about getting into the groove, simple is better

Hey Mr Slide..

First off, I just wanna say I'm listening at work on shitty computer speakers, so I can't comment to much on sound quality.

OK! Funky stuff here! I love the percs and the overall groove.. its got a great vibe going. Like others mentioned, the sound for the main synth is a little raw, and hard on the ears.

Otherwise, everything else sounds great - lots of energy. I like your style. Again, those percs rock!

Looking forward to hearing more,
Trevor
