I don't think you either 1) believe that Zionism is simply a movement aimed at achieving, keeping, and maintaining a unified Jewish homeland where Jews don’t have to worry about persecution by other ruling nations - or 2) you disregard what a 'Zionist' says the movement is all about and believe outside opposing, obviously bias and sometimes outright propagandist perspectives on the matter.

I don’t understand how one can oppose (especially a flaming liberal as yourself) a race/nation/religion that just wants a place to call their own due to a disgusting history they had to endure.

I dont believe I expressed any views whatsoever of Zionism in my post did I?

I posted about that group and the wider topic of the religious divide in Israel (religious Jews, from Jerusalem for example, and secular Jews, from Tel Aviv for example)

As for my views on Zionism, I oppose neo-Zionism (colonising and annexing the West Bank and Gaza) and if I was around at the time I would have opposed Zionsim that led to the creation of Israel. However, I also believe that what happened in the past belongs in the past and therefore today Israel should have the right to exist and live in peace within pre-'67 borders (unless different borders can be agreed between the two sides)

And dont call me a fucking liberal! Liberals to me are right-wing economists so if you want to call me names at least call me something relevant to my beliefs!!!

Oh yea, do you think there is a religious divide in Israel as I described above? And if so, what problems do you see that causing?
