anyway. little acid john needs a job. pretty much never had a real job in my life. but now im 16, got a car (a very pimpin 90 olds...*shakes head*), and have to pay for gas, and help my parents w/ insurance payments, etc....

ahem. so. at the mall around here, Lids is hiring. i figure, what the hell... a job's a job, and its just sellin hats. pretty easy job... (yes, if you're not familiar... lids is an entire storefront devoted to selling hats)

i picked up an application, and im lookin it over... name.. address... havent been convicted of a felony in the past 7 years... etc etc etc... then i get to the back side of it. the app asks for employment history and references... things i dont have.

so.. any proper ways to b/s a job app? or just look like an ass and leave a lot of it blank or with "n/a" next to a lot of it...

idk. just wondering.

A job like lids...I doubt they check references and previous employers. Also see if they have an optino that asks if they can contact teh previous employer. check that no if your bs'in

Yep. I'd include some references, though. Just a family friend or someone like that who can vouch for you (if they do, for some weird reason, decide to contact them).

ugh part time jobs....i always got screwed when it came to the piss tests, which left me unemployed for roughly a year...no self control
