Sho-Dan. NO CONTEST. BEST BY A MILE. BETTER THAN ANYTHING YOU'LL EVER HAVE IN YOUR LIFE, INCLUDING IN JAPAN. OH MY GOD I DROOL thinking about it. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...and get the chef's specialties. They have a seperate menu for that. 15$ a pop, but well worth it. And it's damn expensive but OH SO WORTH IT.

STFU NOOB! Sho-Dan is nothing compared to the heavenly Treehouse. However, Treehouse tends to be a tad expensive, so I'd also have to recommend Sakura, which is between Maisonneuve and Sherbrooke.

Sakura is, easily, one of my favorites.

ZOOOOOMGGGGGG...you're like totally in left field, like OMG I DIE. Sho-Dan rocks your white socks and makes TreeHouse suck cox. Like Marcus, go back to riding your horse

Coming from Vancouver where Sushi is the bomb, I've been pretty disappointed with what I've had in Montreal. The only really "good" sushi I've had has been like $35+ per person, whereas a comparable restaurant in Vancouver would be $15-$20.
