It's morning, I'm at work, still trippin, and smiling ear to ear. It was an amazing night, and an amazing set. I gotta say, even though TO is TO, Calgary knows how to party hardy. Oh and the ladies. Oh my GOODNESS. To all of you in Calgary, your women are elegant, poised, and beautiful.

Wells its a little past 3 in the afternoon and I got out of bed, now craming pizza pops in me.

I feel sorry for the DJ's before Armin because the second the crowd saw Armin get close to the turntables they went nuts and started chanting his name even thoe the opener was not done his set. Armin was really moving that night, he was dancing to his own beats and interacting with the crowd. I think the reason Armin has been to Calgary 3 times is because of the fact he digs the Calgary scene, he likes it here. Now, as per his 'set' I felt there was a lot of build up and teardowns, which is fine but kinda cheap. I would have liked there to been a little more 'story' behind his set with 1 or 2 massive teardowns instead of a teardown every track. One trainwreak during the night, was I the only one who caught it? I didnt see anybody stop moving or anything. Highlight of the night is when he dropped Communication, the second the needle hit the record all the hardcore fans knew exactly what was going on. Did I mention the place was packed? I was upstairs and to the right of the DJ booth most the night dancing up in the louge area. Was pretty chill when a group of 8 decided to join in, turns out I met an old school TA up there, putty? Anyways, had our own little private dance floor.

he's been here 4 times now, and most people that go to those things dont notice trainwrecks, you could throw on a mix cd and they couldnt tell the difference

Not to be a nerd..but it was actually five times: Metro, Escape, Cowboy's Tent, Frostbite and yesterday.

I loved the Escape show the best...like 200 people in a basement with him right there. He even came out and danced with the crowd. Metro was good too when he dropped Punk as an encore....ahh...the old days.

Alas..I wasn't there yesterday..getting too old for Wednesday shows and work committments the next day.

See you at Tall Paul and Glaude.
