He definitely sets himself apart from the rest with his long mixes, heavy bass and dark sound. He was sippin' Red Bull and Jack, loved my "Squirrels Gone Wild" shirt and was getting over the time change from the UK. Spun his ass off. Another great show for The Blue Room in Jax.

yes definately a very fun night! I enjoyed meeting RzO and Kelly (for about the 4th or 5th time) I agree Holden def. sets himself apart. Last night was literally as good as when he played at BED in Miami this year-obviuosly not quite as nice of a venue, but he was really throwing down-that Fischerspooner track was the highlight of the night-The crowd was o.k.-not the biggest but it was actually good-As I said to someone last night who was complaining about the crowd and scene in Jax-where else can you get quality DJ's like that with such a small crowd-it's almost like a private show-it's pretty rare to have someone like Holden play and there be less than 75 people there-actually starting to get spoiled-very much looking forward to this summer's line up-didn't see the ususal familiar faces last night though-Jax crowd needs to step it up! See you all soon!

Yes, he is very humble...almost expected to see him carrying a skateboard and backpack. The small crowds do have their advantages..no matter what time of night it is, you can always walk up and stand right in front of the booth and dance your ass off!

Awesome night - nice intimate crowd (aka sparse) in a weird sort of place.
The guy tore it up though - Full on from start to finish
Tracks that I can remember (in no order):
Andre Kraml - Safari (James Holden remix)
Tieferschwarz - Issst (Nathan Fake remix)
Nathan Fake - Dinamo
Britney Spears - Breathe (James Holden dub mix)
The Sky Is Pink - Nathan Fake
Fischerspooner - Just Let Go (Thin White Duke remix)

i agree that blue room is a very nice chill little spot. ive had alot of fun the few times ive been there. the only problem is: I dont think DJs who are used to spinning bigger clubs for hundreds of people are gonna wanna come back there. they have done a good job bringing them in, but the question is "can they bring them back?"
