personally I think its a wise move for both Viera and Arsenal
I couldn't see Arsenal getting any more than £6m for him next year, and maybe now he'll get a much-deserved crack at the European cup...

I reckon a player like viera will thrive in the italian serie A where the pace will be slightly more suited to his ageing legs, and as you say he will have a better chance in europe, something that arsenal never seemed able to provide him.

Although I hate Juventus, this is a good move for them. They need someone like him whos played a different game then the Serie A style.
