there was hardly any action!!! jet li still kicking some ass, but it had more of the makings of a cheesy pr0n film then an action movie. dog-collar fetish, schoolgirl with braces, horrible dialogue, almost idiotic would-be innuendo.....
the little loan-shark dude could sure take a 5hi7-kicking though...

but why?? i mean, there was so much down time in the movie that the few fight scenes hardly made up for all the nap-time. (probably didn't help that someone decided to bring their little 3yr old son to the theatre... he kept babbling in baby talk the whole way through)
i think there definitely could have been more action though... they left out so many potentially good scraps!!

Jet Li is one of the worst big screen actors on the planet. sure he maybe able to dance all over the room doing flying kicks and backflips, but when it hes stopped doing all his fancy shit, his acting is simply shocking.
all one does is have to watch the film "the one" to grasp how bad it is.

i must say i'm inclined to agree......
so far every movie i've seen with jet li, he's succeeded in taking a wicked concept and totally screwing it up. i think that's why unleashed sucked so badly... jet li is only good if he fights and there just wasn't enough fighting! (i must admit though, i still love the fight scene in kiss of the dragon - that brawl over the pool-table owns.)

Yeah I never had any intention of seeing that movie. Unless it's one of those crazy chinese subtitle movies, going to see one just for the fight scenes isn't worth it. Cuz even if there's none to be developped, Hollywood still tries to create some credible plot, ruining the movie.
