Hey why were they asian? Surely you can not eat these robotic cats?
LOL k seriously,
I'm guessing one of those would cost alot of money, and all it is, is a toy...I mean why not get a real cat. They are free, they need homes, they don't cost THAT much to feed, and you don't have to take them for walks or anything, and they have real personalities, or "souls" as you crazy folk might say.
The only scenario I can imagine someone wanting to buy one of these is when a wealthy 3 member japanese family living in a million dollar condo has a daughter that keeps says I WANT A KITTY I WANT A KITTY, but the yuppie parents don't want a cat, so they buy her one of these. Within a few weeks it would just end up turned off and locked in a closet underneath a wealth of hello kitty merchandise.
OR ELSE THEY TRY TO STIR FRY IT L>AOLZ UNEDUZCATED RACISTM

Yeah, but its still nothing like a real cat...I mean you either are in the situation to own a cat, or you aren't. They only people who would be contented by one of these is someone who has had very little interaction with a real cat.

Then why would they get a robot that is designed to mimic a living thing?
