i would suggest some chicane. i burned a copy of behind the sun for this girl i'm seeing right now and chicane became one of her favorite artists. i'm sure the in search of sunrise series would work well too.

I was going to mix this cd for a girl I like, have a bunch of classics mostly and a little bit of new stuff.. ie:

Questia - Nexus Asia
Ralphie B - Massive
Salt Tank - Eugina [Michael Woods Remix]

and so on... still gotta get around to doing it though.
