I received a Numark TT200 as a graduation gift a few weeks ago. To finish off the set (I'm on a tight budget) I browsed a bunch of websites including ebay and purchased a DXM-03 mixer very cheap.
The funny part of the story is that I was browsing ebay for another TT200, and I came across an incredible deal... a new unopened-box one for $149. The seller was a big vendor so he was trustworthy. A few days later, the box came to my house and it ended up being a TT500! So now I've got two slightly different turntables, one with way more torque and cooler features. I'll have to make do with it, haha

it was actually through one of our jobs interal emplyoee store. I really think that they made a mistake since on their website they had 2 listings for the CDJ-1000. All the descriptions were the same, the ONLY thing that was different was the price: 1 said $799 and the other said $1100 :P now which one do i choose?

The reason why I was asking is because I've been in France since january and I don't know how much longer I'll be here.
Over here they run 220 volts. I'm looking at maybe getting a cdj1000 shipped from the US cause here they charge like 1300 bucks for one new and the used market is pretty pricey. May go with ebay US but shipping kinda sucks too international
Btw are you saying that there is such a thing as a stetup transformer ? From a 110 volt to a 220 ? I assumed they existed but never checked.

on the back of the CDJ its says it runs both 110-240 volts and both at 60/50mhz. all i did was buy another plug. that's all.

Yup, I think most if not all DJ gear now comes with dual voltages, except the good ol 1200, if you want the dual voltage switch, then get the 1210, thats the main difference between them both.
