cool edit and the mbox

Hey everyone. I run cool edit for vocal editing on radio monologues. I'm lookin to acquire an m-box to bring a bit more life to my pieces. Does anyone know if it is possible to make these compatible? How do you use USB with cool edit? I'm sure pro tools is grea tand everything, but I'm so used to Cool Edit already.
Any guidance would be extremely appreciated.

It should just get recognized as a recording device and you can tell cool edit to record from that...

acquiring an MBOX would automatically give you access and use of the accompanying software: Pro Tools LE

..much more pro than Cool Edit, heavy learning curve if you've never done studio recording before.

You can go a cheaper way and get a decent M-Audio interface for less than $350 USD and get to use the new Pro Tool M-Powered. the differences between LE and M-Powered are very minimal for the uses you're gonna be going for.
