does anyone know of the classical songs that he turned digital?
i was listening to public radio and i heard what seemed to be Magik Journey and i was completely confused. i wasnt able to look up the listing either. so i still dont know what song it is from, but for sure it sounded just like the main theme in Magik Journey.
so my friend the other day said the same exact thing happened to her but with Forever Today.
anyone know the original songs that Tiesto and Geert Huinink got the influence from?
i know very little about classical music. its driving me crazy.

the way i write things is heavily influenced by an amalgam of the fantastical works of Tolkien and Jordan. tiesto now, there's your standard hack.

Robert Jordan... if ever there was someone who fucked up a great story, it's him.
As far as I know, those tracks are unique compositions, and none of the writing credits acknowledge other writers. They might sound like other tracks, but to my knowledge they aren't direct lifts.
after hearing it classical... i felt like i was betrayed.
but ofcourse music creation isnt black and white, i respect tiesto, but hopefully someone will ID it, so we can compare.

and after hearing that "Forever Today" sounds like a classical song aswell i started thinking about how these two songs are so similar and together very different than his other productions.
I really don't think this are just remakes of classical peices (like Adagio). Geert Huinink co-produced both those tracks and I am pretty sure he did most of the arranging.
i still think they are. they just might not be famous works like adagio.

nope.
all classical pieces in tiesto's tracks such as magik journey and forever today are entirely composed & produced by geert huinink. huinink is a classically trained musician

again. im not talking about a remix or a remake. tiesto wouldnt produce a remake and not give credit. im not acting dumb here , i know Tiesto and Geert composed it, im just VERY SURE i heard the main theme of "magik journey" from a classical song.
and since a Geert and Tiesto are both classically trained. dont you think they could have used parts of other songs. geez. Geert and Tiesto both have remixed or remade classical songs. they have also composed their own songs, but the classical style ones seems to all be influenced by old songs. ITS NOT LIKE ITS NEW AGE SYMPHONY!
tiesto's not composing classical wonders is he? hes making wonderful trance songs.

hold your horses
just to inform you, Tiesto isn't classically trained. In fact he can't produce sh*t really He's got a nice team of people working for him behind the scenes, of which geert huinink is only one of them.
It's just what they (=the record label) want you to believe
