[ Uplifting trance] Silvermoon - Infectious (160k sample)

Hi,

I appreciate comments of any kind for my new work:

Silvermoon - Infectious

It's kind of uplifting/melodic trance.
Hope you like it.

Cheerio,
Silvermoon

Sounds good, some nice laidback trance. Reminds me of some old-skool trance, which in my case certainly isn't a bad thing

Keep it up!

Not bad. I think it could stand to have a bit more bassline, other than that, I can't think of much that I would change. Your highs felt a bit like they were suffering from mp3 compression though, despite the bitrate.

A nice sounding track, the whole melody isn't very original but its still a good track.
Maybe u should cut down the first breakdown a bar or 2 but i can't think of anything else to change.

Wow, this sounds great so far! Some pointers though... increase the punchiness of the kick! Increase volume on the bassline to give it more presence! Percs and fx are very good and sound bang upto date! When the main synth came in at about 1.52ish was fantastic coupled with an awesome melody! This sure as alot of potential but for me you need to push some drive into it and make it into a peak time trancer!

First time I have heard your stuff and I'm mighty impressed!

Great work!

Hey.

-Assuming this is just a sample, ok.
-Good percussion. Light, punchy and effective.
-Decent bassline. It could be beefier in the lower ranges (250Hz to 500Hz) but its not bad.
-Good ambient pad.
-Great trance pluck.
-Break-out is good.
-The congos in the break are good but they could use a little more reverb. This will add a bit more ambience to it and it will no doubt add more the the ethereal feel to the track. I would probably apply a reverb with a long 5s-7s decay, with the lopass on the reverb set to a low 400Hz-1000Hz.
-Decent break-in. You could extend the growl effect a little longer and/or use a 4 beat delay on it.
-Good melody. It seems a little repetitious but not so much in a bad way.

Overall, this track is comign along nicely. This seems like a pretty standard track in terms of modern trance but its definantly not bad . The main focus should probably be in placing more FX in the track now so that its fuller, thicker, more interesting and unique to listen to. Go crazy on creating effects too. Apply an lfo to the bandwidth on a parametric EQ or something :P. I'll look forward to hearing this track in full.
Grade A

Cheers,
Zac

Actually it is working. Did you try it with a left click? It's not a direct download link. Sorry.

Ok its working now.

Just downloaded and listened to the clip. I'm very impressed! High quality, pro sound indeed. Your synth work and percussion all stand well in their place and mix well. I can't really put a finger on anything bad about your work. Keep up the great work!
