Semi Drunken Review: Schryer& Dennis Hahn @ Purple Room, Revolution, Waterloo
Fun is one word that described the night. Two middle fingers to Top 40 songs played at the main room because Purple Room owned tonight.
I arrived just before 11pm to hook up with Cale, Dan, Andrew, Barry with Dennis putting up some good warm up tunes. Crowd isn't much into it, but TAs dance it up, leading from the front as it should be.
Mike Schryer gets on the deck. He starts with some hard housey tunes, then goes into full blast psy/goa. Around 12am, people start filling in. TBH, I've never thought that Purple Room would get some psy/goa going ever. It's like Peter Piper with his pipes leading the rats into the Purple Room. Mike, you brought them in, you kept them dancing through the night. It was. ALL. YOU.
Then Dennis gets back on and he keeps putting on tune after tune of dance worthy goodness that kept people dancing. I swear, of all my experience at the Purple Room, this has to be one of the best nights ever and there wasn't that many TAs in attendance! It was scary!
Like I said, those of you who have been to the Vault nights and had fun, you guys have to come to a Purple Room night because it is usually more freaking fun.
Tune of the night: Questia - Nexus Asia (Mike, never, ever, play this freaking tune less that 145 bpm again)  into Three Drives - Greece 2000. Also Purple Haze - Adrenaline. I love that tune

PS: Kelly, you know that to get rid of a bad day, you can dance it up with good tunes spending time with friends to make the day better. It's true, because I, the Evil Genius that I am, said so.
PPS: Dennis, you know I wub you mate, but if you keep this goodness up, I may have to start a Dennis Hahn fan club.
