Moving from the DJM500 to A&H Xone...

I guess this kind of fits the "Another useless comparison thread," but I'm more concerned with whether or not the A&H Xone 92 is going to be worth saving the extra loot for...

I've been a DJM 500 user for a few years now, mixer is definitely starting to degrade from years of abuse (Travel mostly...), and if I'm going to buy a new mixer, the only thing I can think of buying is an Xone, either 62 or 92...

I'm fairly sure that I'm going to purchse a 62, but before I do, can anyone give me a good reason to save up the extra $500-$600 for a 92? A big reason I want to get a 62 is because I'm also looking to add a Pioneer EFX 500 to my setup, and my budget should allow for that if I buy a 62...

Current Setup:

3 x Pioneer CDJ 800
Pioneer DJM 500 Mixer
Apple iBook G4 at 1.3GHZ, 512MB RAM, running Ableton Live 4

I really, REALLY enjoy the effects on the 500, so those will easily be the thing I miss most about replacing the mixer, hence my desire to add an EFX 500 to the mix...

In any event, let me know what you guys think, I appreciate any thoughts/advice...

Peace, Cheers,

RJT

I switched from a DJM500 to a Xone:92 rotary and its simply heaven to mix on, not to mention the amazing boost in sound quality too. Like Psiweaver said if you want rotary then the 92 is well worth the extra loot.

One other thing I can't seem to find about the Xone's is whether or not they have split cue...?

A lot of folks love their 92's, I guess I'm just a little impatient at this point so it's looking more and more like I'm going to go with the 62 + an EFX 500...

Edit: Alright, after looking at the 92's a little more closely, I think a 92 Rotary is what I'm going with... that is one sexy machine

Anyone know what I should be paying (Average) in the US for one?

Yeah the 92 has split cue... I've seen them going on average for around $1799.99

Yeah, definitly go with the rotary, I just switched from my DJM 600, and it's awesome.
