Does anyone play video games? I do and listen to trance music. I find it to be calming, and I can concentrate. Iono, I was just curious to know if anyone really played any video games, and to see what music you listen to when you play video games..If you even do...

I like listening to Digweed's Kiss Fm sets and Global Underground albums while playing most of my PS2 games. Theres games i have where the game needs your undivided attention, thats when i turn off the music =)

Ofcourse I play video games.
Last week I downloaded 600 (!) old NES games playable with pc.
Damn that is just so addictive!
But usually I play Tribes online, and really, the better the liveset I play in winamp while playing, the better I'm plaing!

Yep, I'm a big gamer. I usually just listen to the music on the game because alot of the games have professional sound tracks already, and GTA3 even has a trance and drum&bass radio stations!

I love when a game comes with its own soundtrack. The WipeOut series had an awesome soundtrack including the latest one which was done by Sasha himself. Ace Combat 3, Gran Turismo 1-3 and FIFA 2002 also featured some nice trance tunes.
Im getting ready to play some Devil May Cry and im listening to Parks & Wilson's live set as we speak.

I usually play computer games...

but I sure do miss my ATARI ...

i havent been seen posting in the GTA3 forum...but seriously nothing beats a good driving game and trance. except maybe a great driving game, really loud trance and pot...but thats just my opinion

I consider myself a pretty big gamer.. but usualy when i play i don't put any music on, i give my full attention to the game.
Sometimes, in fighting games (Tekken, Dead or Alive etc..), i put some Mauro Picotto on and then i kick the other player's ass!

like most of you, it really depends on what game it is i play. like for tony hawk pro skater 3, i usually just listen to the trackz found in there. hehe, even tho they aren't electronica, they suit the game. but for diablo ii for insance, i like to put on some darkstyle dnb/jungle trackz.

but for certain games, like cstrike, i only have sound fx on because you really need to concentrate on the footsteps, gunshots, radio cmds, etc. in the game to be truly successful.

oh and phazon, killer avatar dude. i love the illustrations of snake for mgs2. they kickass.
