Dunno Terminology - So what is it?

I'm tired of reviewing tracks here and saying, "man, that tune rocks!"...It doesn't rock. ROCK n' Roll is the only music that rocks!
Don't we have an official term for a good trance tune?
Usually I see folk around here saying "CHOON!"... but that simply won't cut it. After all, CHOON is a noun and what I need is a good verb!

What does good trance do!? The word trance would imply something like hypnosis...but if your wheeling around a dancefloor, there's very little in common with the idea of being out cold in some passive catatonic state!

Any ideas?

I think it's completely subjective - I describe every house/trance tune a different way when I hear it. I tend to think trance is really enveloping and surrounds you when you hear it - you become really involved and it just puts you in a certain state of mine.

Surely an adjective would be better?

Yeah, I've got one for a USB camera/toaster that makes same nice toast for you when it sees you waking up. Toast with the day's news toasted on to it maybe...

I guess "hypnotyzing" would be a praise to Trance these days. So I guess i'd say hypnomazing! Unfortunately I haven't heard very many hypnomazing Trance tracks produced after 1998.

Boondockery.
