Developing an ear for EDM....

Other than studying music theory, listening to other people's music and practice pracitce practice.....is there a way to develop an ear for this?

cool sounding man... I don't know too much to give you a review, but it sounds nice in my ear... can you tell me what bpm you did that? I personaly like it and that is what I aim for tryining to make EDM

it just takes time. you can speed that time up with lots of practice. you can learn by reading, being taught, etc; how to do certain things. other than that, there is nothing thats going to make you produce and "develop an ear" for good sound. or else we would all be doing it.
not happy with what you know so far and looking for a quick and short, easy way out? take some mushies and make some fucked up sounds...

but really...time, practice, imagination and creativity are the only things that are really going to propell you forwards.

If it sounds fucked up enough, you can just call it IDM and pretend you're better than everyone else because you make more fucked up music than they.

But your track sounds totally awesome. It's all good and dark. Kinda short, but that can be easily dealt with by hard work and determination. Keep it up.
