What's the score with selling everything in packs of 10 and upwards?
Gay as fuck. |
Indeed. This site chooses the tactic of selling records in a group. Many EBay sellers use this tactic as well. I have included a picture of the site's (below) homepage so that you can see how it works. All the items listed for sale were groups; there were no singles.
I found prices to be a bit below average due to the nature of the bundled recors. With shipping, youll be paying roughly 6-9 dollars per album (This estimate is provided from averaging 5 random groups together).
I would reccomend this store to anyone looking to vastly increase their vinyl collection. I would also reccomend to this store to anyone who has exhausted all other efforts to find a certain album if it appears in one of their packages. Additionally if you're looking to mine sounds, these bundles may be a good deal. However, I cannot reccomend this store to anyone looking to buy single records. Most people like to pick and choose the records they buy, not be saddled with a few extras as the price of buying one or two favorites. With countless sites such as ebay, dscogs, and even this one, as well as online record stores providing material of all ages, it seems much more cost effective to buy your favorite hit by itself or in a group of other records that you choose.
