DJs that never fail to deliver

Been listening to many sets since 1999 and been attending events.
Ive noticed some DJs that never seem to dissapoint or fail to deliver their style:

Carl Cox - He will always bring his usual hard mixes with the tech songs thrown into the mix. Certainly keeps the dance floor in check

Marcel Woods - Always delivers an energy driven, hard trance set. Also keeps the dance floor moving.

PVD - You will always get his style. Melodic Trance, uplifting with the odd harder track thrown into his sets here and there.

John Digweed - You know exactly what your going to get from this guy, progressive, and does very well in delivering.

Any others you think that should be added? I would love to add some more but couldnt.

Marco V - Although he is one my favs and certainly one of the better djs/producers, he has failed on some of his sets to deliver a techish trance Marco V stlye, including a gig at the Guv. Sometimes getting either too much on the hard side or too much on the softer trance side imo

AVB - Personally I liked this guy much much better back in 2000. He used to come with shades and a black lethaer jacket and drop stuff like lightspeed and ba ba and mix it up with trance. Hes made a transition to ofcourse the softer, melodic style which he still great at but ive heard some sets recently that were jsut boring at times and failed to deliver any punch. Hes still good though so dont bash me, just not as good as he was.

Sasha - again, one of favs, a high class producer making some true classics and one of the greatest mixers but lately some of his sets are just boring imo. With the odd good track here and there, those proggy sounds start sounding the same after a while. His last set that I really enjoyed was the 3 part Buenes Aires set in late 2003 I believe which was certainly a classic.

Superchumbo is a great haus music party-dj. He just keeps it pumpin' and bumpin' - both times I've seen him has been a great time.

Tiesto @ The Docks is never a let down. Something about The Docks fires him up and rocks his socks (and thus the crowd's socks). 4 times @ Docks - magnificent.

Lawler after last weekend and after SystemS is the consumate grimey ass shakin' master. Somebody should give him a belt.

Armin boat cruise and pre-boat cruise was fantastic. Since last summer though I've been finding it harder to get into his groove (however the party is always fun).

(more to come later)

DJ's who never fail to deliver IMO are

Armin: This is one DJ I can't get enuff off....Swirl, Decadence 1 & 2 , Guv Anniversary events, Boat cruise last yr and many more of his performances have been pure spectacles.....

Scott Bond: have seen him twice so far and been greatly impressed with both performances.....Amazing producer with superb DJ'ing skills

Lawler : Not such a big househead but lawler plays the house that makes me move....Great DJ who keeps the crowd on his fingertips....

PVD: Another Class act....Skill, talent, tunes...pretty much everything packed into a box with a German label on it....true Trancemaster....

And the list goes on....

Dj's that i've seen and that have yet failed to deliver

Derrick Carter- This guy just plain rocks, he bring the party wherever he goes and when he's on, no one can beat him

Timo Maas - Although his mixing is a little sketchy from time to time, his tracklisting easily makes up for it

Adam Freeland - He's not the king of breaks for nothing !

Dj's that have failed to deliver on more than one occasion

Mauro picotto - Only once has he been really what he is suposed to be, Aria, October 2002, since then he's nowhere near the shadow of what he used to be

Deep Dish - When only one member of the duo is there, it's nothing !!

Ferry Corsten's bitch

Infected Mushroom, I must agree...I'd never even heard of them the first time I saw them, and I fucking LOVED them!! Every time I've seen them after, they have never failed me, and always brought it hard. I have this one set by them...amazing!

I'm surprised however that no one has mentioned Ferry Corsten. I've only seen him 3 times, and each time...he blows me away. The energy he brings to the crowd is awesome. I love seeing him smile down and make the heart! There are lots of amazing tracks you can usually count on hearing, and then he also brings out some other good ones that you may not know. Each time I've seen him too, his sets just get better and better as the night goes on. He totally knows how to close out the nite! And I must not forget to mention that that amount of tracks that he plays that he has produced himself, or helped to produce is phenomenal! I love that he plays so much of his own stuff...and so much of them are amazing, classic songs!
