hey man,
i think if you want it sound more like trance, its just a matter of choosing the right sounds and tempo. First thing i personally would do is slow the tune down a few bpm, down to something like 138-140, this sounds quite a bit faster than that which is making it sound more like happy hard.
I agree with the comment about your snare, i would change the sample, and prob lower the volume a tad, whilst brining a more dominant hi hat/s in.
Production quality is good, nice synths etc, the lead sound at about 4:00 is really nice
The pad through the song is quite repetitive, some more chord/note changes might help there.
A couple more layers, with some shorter 'pluck' sounds layered with your bassline could help too.
For what it is at the moment, its really pretty good. But if like you said you wanted to make some stuff thats more like trance, i hope my points are helpful!!
