Production wise , sounds good mate.

Melody wise... is too happy for my taste.

Style wise.... I don't know if this is supposed to be trance, but it has more influences of Hardcore Happy than trance...

Hi mate,so I have listened to your track, for first please use more actual sounds, samples and etc... dont use that "snare"sound thats not good... it needs mastering, hmmm.. when have you started producing btw ? there are some very good passages.. I like the break which starts 2:03 or so.. thats really good, melody is ok too.. so mate there is something special in this tune.. but you have to work on your productions too.. keep it up

hey Robert. Thanks for your suggestions on my song. I'm actually working on it. I'll change that snare. . I started producing for almost 6 months and I'm still learning how to do this. Well thanks for your feedback. =) and by the way u meant to give feedback on Nightfall but this song is EnterTheLight. =)

Welcome to the meat grinder...these guys will chew you up and spit you out...yup..they're a rough bunch but that's because they know their stuff!!!
You can learn a lot of technical trance stuff here (more than at the P5 forum!!)
Anyways, I've reviewed your song too at the P5 forum. I like the happier stuff personally, but we're a rare breed here! LOL

Also, the way it works here is : You essentially won't get any feedback without taking a few hours of your time to share the same courtesty and review some other artists songs here. Once guys start noticing that you regularly listen and provide valuable feedback then they start to return the favour! Anyways, good luck and we'll see ya back home! (P5 forum, you know!)

hey man,

i think if you want it sound more like trance, its just a matter of choosing the right sounds and tempo. First thing i personally would do is slow the tune down a few bpm, down to something like 138-140, this sounds quite a bit faster than that which is making it sound more like happy hard.

I agree with the comment about your snare, i would change the sample, and prob lower the volume a tad, whilst brining a more dominant hi hat/s in.

Production quality is good, nice synths etc, the lead sound at about 4:00 is really nice

The pad through the song is quite repetitive, some more chord/note changes might help there.

A couple more layers, with some shorter 'pluck' sounds layered with your bassline could help too.


For what it is at the moment, its really pretty good. But if like you said you wanted to make some stuff thats more like trance, i hope my points are helpful!!
