Vinyl, CD, MP3... you decide!

Hi All...

Just alitle update for you on what we can now offer you with regard to formats availoable.. and pricing realting to that!.

we think there will always be a place in a lot of peoples hearts for vinyl.. and i personally still love to have a brand new slate of vinyl of my favourite releases ( especially if it has a cool sleeve design )

But cds & MP3s are now a very realistic alternative & as such we now offer ( as from today ) products for sale on our site in both 12" Vinyl & CD Single formats.. this will include all baroque & method releases .. and all Critical Rhythm labels ( inc. Bozboz, Aurium, Sog, nascent, Vinyl Vice, Climax, Open Up, Electrofly, Apache, Baroque Limited )

www.baroquerecords.co.uk go to ON LINE STORE section

Hope this satifies the needs of all.. and within the next month or so we will also have MP3s available on our own store ( although you can currently get all the above mentioned labels digital releases from pretty much all of the major MP3 stores such as DJ Download, Audiojelly, Beatport etc etc )

but even compared to downloads i think the price we are offering on our cd singles is very competative.. if not cheaper!!!

as when you buy a digital download you would pay around 1.50 - 1.99 for a 320 bit version i think?? so for the two tracks on a 12" you end up paying 3.00 to 4.00 ( plus the cost for your cd that you have to use to burn it onto ) .. and that's presuming there are only 2 tracks.. if there is a third version , accapella or something and you wanted all versions then it boost the digital download costs way beyond this cd cost

but even on a 2 track digital download we should be offering you a cheaper package by actually sending you full quality WAV's already burnt on a nice cd for less than 3 pound.... i hope so as that is what we are really trying to offer.

As usual any feedback, questions or comments are always welcome.. Ta

Regards
Keith

It's nice to see labels and retailers are now acknowledging the benefits of digital music. Nice one

Why would anyone buy an MP3... well, I know people do. However, if I'm laying out some cash it had better be wave format for a digital download.
