York feat. Angelina - Iceflowers

I'm surprised there wasn't a thread for this yet, what with all the remixes floating around.

Original is nice string-backed breaky chillout stuff, that really puts the vocal in its proper place. I wish the remixes had taken advantage of that one middle-eastern sounding effect that appears.

Aly & Fila is standard epic, though decently produced. What kills it for me, though, is how they forced a speed-up of the vocal to fit the tempo, just awful.

Mind One vs. Infra is terribly average epic stuff. Nothing else to say.

JBL is probably the only epic remix that's decent, particularly because of the synth guitar riff that supports it. Even so, still sticks by the numbers, and none of the three epic mixes are worth much.

Mac Lane, however, really stands out. Pounding hard trance, that despite being a hint cheesy, still does the job very well. Sure, the vocal interlude is a bit out of place versus the rest of the track, but who cares? It's still good. Thumbs up.

the breakdown in this remix is ok, but the rest is cheesy wankness, and i was actually embarassed to hear pvd play it

well, the remixes aren't really good I think, I'll stick with the original.
Aly & fila has a nice uplifting feeling to it, I can't say I dislike the 'speed-up' of the vocals. It's kinda necessary to keep up with the uplifting rhythm imo.
JPL is nothing too special, just ok.
but as I said, the original is
awesome chill tune!

I've got to say that this is a quality production. All remixes are good, Especially Aly & Filas.
