descent sounding tune...song doesn't really go anywhere for me though. Doesn't sound like its flowing all that well.
But then again, song really isn't my style anyways, so just keep up the good work man

nice into, like the riff. Good clear sound. mastered well. nice melody so far...

This seems much more chiled than the last tune. The melody drifts along nicely, but i really feel the bassline needs to be much stronger/pumping if you want this to be a more 'cranking, clubby dance tune'. At the moment its more back room chilled stuff.

when it kicks in (when 2mins 10 secs left) I feel theres room for a ripping 303 type bassline - just something to make it really travel. Other than that its pretty good. I must say I prefered your last tune.

thx for yr comments on my tune. How do you give your mixdown energy? Im not sure if im destroying my tunes by mastering them wrong - or there eqed al wrong to start with. If I send you a raw mix down sample of that last tune can you Master it for me so I can see if its just my shit levels.

thx

Thought you had some real nice elements. Mastering sounded fine to me in my head phones. I thought your kick drum needed some more punch to it, and you should make a sweet driving bassline to help move it along. Your low end needed some help that's all. Make those adjustments and you a have a killer club tune.

Overall a good job, pleasing to my ears...

You're right that this is very chilled in feeling. I haven't heard your previous work, so I can't really comment on that.

Pro - The mastering is good (better than my track, that's for sure). Each element is very distinct and nothing really gets muddied up too much. The vocals were very nice as well. The pianos were a nice touch.

Cons - Really don't like the melody at the beginning. There's something very 'preset-y' or off about the sound. It almost sounds too 'brassy'. Maybe use a different waveform to start with. The melody line itself is ok, so if you're very enthused about that that wouldn't need changing. This is only a 3:30 minute sample, so perhaps the track develops more later, but as far as I can see it's really not going anywhere, and you need to make it develop or add some twist to it within the timeframe given in your sample to keep people's attention.

Talking Returnin The favour...

Hi MP, Returnin the favour.

Intro, sounds kina rocky, i like the pad chords, nice variation. piano is fine, vocals are used good. synth is melodic and plucky, not too much for the intro, nice.

1:28, Nice kick, masterin sounds fine, the synth could be phatter here, it sounds like to much attack on that but at the same time, simple is good.

Percussion is fine, could have a few more elements here and there to fill up gaps and a sort of background noise to keep the track flowing too just to get rid of the tracks emptyness. Apart from that, nice stuff mate, keep it up.

Terry.
