Drunk Sample: Oceanlab - Clear Blue Water (Remix) - Better Quality!

This i'd say is probably my best production yet. I am getting closer and closer to making a full awesome quality track. I've been working hard in fruity, but havn't been able to get quality till around a few days ago.

160kbps:

Anyone know how to get the crap off the filter? The popping or whatever?

Thanks,
Allen

I think it's just because I put FM compression on it

I'll put the one straight exported up when it's uploaded.

nice melody, overall feels tight and pumped. If I had to critise I'd say the kicks not loud enough - it needs to punch through more. the whole tune seems eg'd very high up in the mix which i think is something happening more and more these days, which is not a problem, but you can forget the bottom end... after all u want it in a club ultimately.

I can see you work hard on your melody - like me. I think melody is very important, half the freaks here only care about EQ and compression, so dont let them put u down.

u will make it - good stuff!

Hey there,

The leadsound is great, the break is nice. The lead itself has problems during the lower parts when it comes up, it cracks a bit.

When all comes together it is a nice sounding track with good energy. The kick itself is a bit light. But I like the sound. Mastering needs a lot of work still. Too much high end compared to the low and mids.

Overall very decent sounding work. Looking forward to the whole track.

Cheers!
