I am wanting to get some music making software so I can start composing trance on the computer, what are some GOOD but yet affordable options in music making software? And where can I find it? ANY information would be appreciated. Thank you!

A good start is telling the difference between a producer and a DJ.
Many people are unable to grasp the basic concept but a PRODUCER produces/creats music and DJ is a disc jockey he just plays songs and mixes then and makes them flow.
