DC's own Deep Dish, First CD Release in 6 years.
Gets released tomorrow but if you live in DC it gets released today.
They are having a little release party here in DC at the Tower Records on my campus (George Washington University)from 10pm - 11pm.

CD will go on sale for that one hour for $13.99 - then the price gets bloated. They will be signing cd's and giving away free VIP concert tickets with each purchase.

If you live in DC, the tower records is located on 21st & I(eye) Street NW in the 2000 Penn building, (right off of Pennsylvania Avenue).

I'll post some reviews after listening to it - sounds pretty cool from the samples on their site.

Theres an afterparty in Georgetown but you have to be 21+ to go. Their manager apologized told me they were carding and apologized to me (I'm 19).

Anyway, I was the first person to buy the cd and first person in line - was hella cool to tlak to them. They are very chill guys and are very excited about their release.

I've onyl lsitened to aprt of the album, but so far its pretty awesome. I'll give more of a review tomorrow.

Its nice to own something before it goes on sale

Only given it one listen so far, didn't really like it (maybee I was expecting too much after all this time?). I'll be giving it more listens though, as I've been a Deep Dish fan since around 96.
