Another Coldplay Remix? (Prog/House)

I know you guys heard another version of this a few weeks back. Which, by the way, I liked a lot. I liked it so much that I was going to can this mix, but it’s totally different. Anyway, you be the judge.

Please let me know what you think.

www.remixed-miami.com go to project M. There are a few others there as well. Enjoy.

Be Cool!

hey Maestro!
Had a boo at a few of these remixes. I like em!

The Mister Mister remix is cool, although I think you should have used your own synths rather than use their guitar track. That was a sweet tune!

The Coldplay remix was pretty nice too. The kick was a bit annoying after awhile. Too dominant. And the bassline was too gritty. You tried to keep it in a minor key which also didnt suit the song IMO.
You did have some great ideas, including the arping piano which continued off the original piano riff. Nice touch. The vocals were way to reverbed. Such a great tune though for a remix isnt it!? I like after your "lights will guide you home" break (the first one) when the drums come in again.
The second break makes the song too drawn out. You should have incorporated a verse or two first I think. Great job though..could be a really good remix with some more work.

I agree pretty much with everything Digital Aura said. It's got plenty of good ideas, but unfortunately they're a bit too far-fetched to work with this particular track, and it leaves the final mix sounding a bit messy.

Would be nice if you could clear this up a bit - maybe it just needs more work. I like the way you incorporated some of the later stages of the track, I was a bit scared to do that in my own remix (the one I assume you were referring to in your first post.)

Keep up the good work though!

Thanks Col, and yes, your track is quality.

You could try experimenting with it. All the elements are there.
