not all the files in my shared directories appear in my napster library section...does anyone know why this is? most of the files do appear there, but there are 4 or 5 of them that do not. i checked all of the file properties and i made sure that they all have the .mp3 extension, but they still do not appear in my napster library...not sure why. if you know, please let me know.

I had the same problem, it used to say invalid perameter data to add file or something, it went away after a while...

Yeah i have the same problem...for some reason its only songs i get form sites...that do that... i just think its something with napster that program has so many bugs in it!!!...

at tranceaddited you can download 2 progams..
1 of them has an option to stip junk from your mp3.

do that and then they will appear in napster.

well, it worked for me athough.

Ahhh napster blows. I hardly ever use napster, only when i can't find a track that i missed perhaps...total times i used napster would be 4 times

those 4 or 5 songs may have data junk in them and then in napster the mp3'zz don't appear in the library.
When I just mp3 cutter (an option in that prog removes data junk from the mp3) they appeared in napster.

To respond to TranceCluber, i dunno when napster is supposed to start charging people, but it wouldn't surprise me to see it happen soon... Kind of pointless to have this start now don't ya think? since Peer to Peer networks have already started popping up, i believe another free alternative will show up soon, besides, so what if you can't get the music you liek for free, I paid for music for about 16-17 years of my life, i can pick that habit up again... yeah, right :^)

but, I'd expect it to hapen before the year's out, or early in 2k1. i don't think it'll be too expensive either, but who knows, i don't think music corporations can do anythign cheaply (atleast here in the US)...

I would agree ...there are alternative programs going to pop up ..... but the comment on paying for the music.... i would if they had it here in Vegas or majority of the us you cant get the songs as you can in Europe!.... only thing you can get are mayb Comp Cds....which come out late over here anyway... in the most part...!!!
