I dont know about clothes, but I do know that if you have old towels, you can bring them to your local pet store for the puppies to use in the cages.
(7 week old pugs are SO CUTE!)

your best bet is to organize a yard sale... used clothing stores usually buy by the pound so to give you an idea how much you'll get for them
some used clothes places like Black Market on Queen st...or places in Kensington, maybe?
