July mix

just done a little mix there, it's about 48mins long - house and techno is the order of the day. Any feedback is welcome as well.

D/load here----> http://artistgigs.com/song.pl?id=5502

If it asks for a username and password then try

User name: listening84

Password: listen

If that doesn't work you need to sign up a listeners account of your own to d/load it.

You can do so:

I'll try and have a listen this week but my MP3 player is seriously fooked up, so it might not work out in the end.. When it does, I'll let you know what I thought of it of course

Whoops, forgot to d/l it. Gonna listen to it tomorrow.

By the way, I didn't really fancy signing up before being able to d/l it (did anyway though, if only for the support of different music styles here on TA), others might not even bother to do so..

You'll probably be better off using yousendit or megaupload...

Yeah, I think it is causing problems, I've had over 200 views overall on the various sites I've posted the mix on and only 4 or 5 d/loaded the mix.

Will need to see about getting it hosted.

Skipped through it on my PC yesterday, first thing I noticed was that the levels were out of match sometimes, you might either normalize your mix before uploading, or even better, try and avoid it next time I know lots of people tend to forget it while mixing at home though, including myself.

When I listened to the first half on my way to work this morning, I didn't really find it that noticable though, could be because the differences weren't really that big, or me not noticing due to surrounding noise (I go by bike). Dunno.

I really like your type of music for listening at home or on the road, wouldn't be too pleased though when presented with a whole night of it when going out It's just a bit too slow for that. Apart from that, your mixing in the first half was pretty good, I didn't spot any real mistakes. Some lovely tunes in there as well.

The way back home is for the 2nd half of your mix

I'm home, implying I've been able to listen to the second half of your set. I liked this part better than the first half, merely for the fact that the tunes were somewhat harder, fuller and more intense (if you catch my drift). Some truly good tracks in there, though it still isn't really my cup of tea, it was a pleasant listen. Paid some more attention to the mixing technique as well (instead of paying attention to the traffic), caught a minor beat drift somewhere (can't really name the track but it was somewhere around 38, 39 mins I guess) but overall it was decent at least.

Keep me informed about a new mix if you've got one ready

Woah, very good stuff again. Really enjoy this style of music, very refreshing. The only thing i noticed wrong was the volume, as basd said it's really quiet overall and there's noticeable differences between certain tracks. Still got here your march mix, can't say which one is better, they're both good.
