Bukem's D'n'B is alright, but I find it all too samey. The idea is nice though.

well that's why i'm looking for additional labels and or artists that have the same idea, but maybe expand upon it. i like that atmospheric dnb...its really nice...but of course i don't know enough about the genre...

Well, it's not atmospheric in the same sense, more like modern classical on top of Drum'N'Bass/Breakcore. But try:

Venetian Snares - Rossz Csillag Alatt Született (Album)

My favorite album of 2005, possibly favorite album ever. And yes, I know the name by heart.

i find it awkward to be in the mood to listen to tho
its like atmospheric chilled for when you wanna listen to something peaceful
but then it goes all mental and zany

yeah venetian snares are pretty good. know some of their stuff. i'll check it out

i guess what i'm mostly looking for is stuff that could perhaps cross over into other genres...i guess at the moment i've been kinda wanting to experiment with different sounds seeing if i can get stuff to flow.

i guess as an example i'll throw out...

Rantoul - Luna

off the distant constellations EP. of course it doesn't have to be that chilled out, but i'd like to maybe try and find stuff that's got cross over potential...

His stuff. The thing is, he's never composed an album like this. All the other stuff is hardcore drill'n'bass.

Moving Shadow is a great label. + Alot of Omni Trio's stuff that ull find on that label is nice.

Also see if you can find:

Impact - Tangled Web
Darkstar - G-Force
Mishmash - Base Note

Really old but I doubt ull find much new stuff like that. I have no idea if this is useful to u or not as everything i know about dnb is out of date by 5 years.

I have some old dnb compilations from 99/2000 which are very much that kinda stuff. But i know fuck all about recent stuff like this...

Omni Trio is nice. I like his "Skeleton Keys" album.
I was also listening to Various - Drum&Bass Arena at a friend's flat, which is pretty cool for home listening.
