Remix Opportunities Thread

Instead of delving through pages and pages of google searches looking for competitions, I thought it might be a good idea to have a thread where we can post some remix opportunities for all of us to take advantage of.

I'll start:

Beatport has an opportunity to remix Ellen Allien - Magma... cool track and a great opportunity for exposure. Deadline : Aug 22

beatport

Trent Reznor/ NIN have released all of the master track samples for their track 'only'... really cool, high quality samples, def fun to play with.

HERE

NIN released another set of samples for 'The Hand That Feeds' as well. I'll search for that link as well sometime soon.

Feel free to add anything you come across that you might think we all could enjoy

Another... never heard of this band... remix 'You Mean Everything' by !Distain

Samples are iffy, but I'm sure someone could work with them.

Acidplanet always has contests going on. someone mentioned the Filo & Peri (which ends tonight) but there's also a Richard Morel one going on. sometimes they get some really big name artists in there too - in the past they've had Depeche Mode, Black Eyed Peas, Madonna, Lenny Kravitz, and even David Bowie

and you forgot to mention Lounge, D:Fuse, CHEMICAL BROTHERS!!! yeah CHEMS!!! and so many others that would deserve more attention on boards like these than Black Eyed Peas actaulyl
