Pendulum: Utterly Brilliant

I've had their album repeating for over a month now. I simply can't get enough of it. Rich, superbly produced drum 'n bass all the way.

The only trouble is... most deebee seems to be 3am banging stuff. Are there any other albums like Hold Your Colour out there? Or any essential drum 'n bass?

I dont really like dnb, but I respect Pendulum, and the way they manage to make their productions so trippy

The new album is absolutely mint. Sounds Of Life Feat. Jasmine Lee is by far the best track on the album imo.

I'd say Girl in The Fire. That solo in the middle just blows my mind.

Or maybe Slam. I can't get enough of that intro.

The Terminal is my fav atm but it changes pretty regularly. They are indeed very talented, as for other essential dnb artists/albums id say :

Concord Dawn
High Contrast
John B
London Elektricity

High Contrast - High Society is an amazing album.

Lovesick is one of the very very select few DnB tunes that feels like a euphoric trance song when the breakdown hits.

Sorry, I don't buy it. There are some nice experiments on Hold Your Colour, but the amount of crass, whiny synthbashing horror and ugly subbass fiddling (Slam, Guns At Dawn, Vault) found in Pendulum's discography is just downright embarrasing, and serves as a good example of just how shit d'n'b has gotten.

I am of this opinion too. I cannot understand all the hype.

You need to listen to the more heady stuff.
Give Noisia & Pacific a go.
