search it there was a really good tutorial about how to do this with pictures and all. you probably get better help in the dj/production forum anywho.

why cant u all just help a guy real quick

ok, first get one of these cables...without the yellow plug

plus them into your RECORD section of your mixer...and connect that to your sound card..or whatever its called..
and use a prog such as Sound Forge..and ur set

It's very possible and easy to do.

Make a thread in the DJ booth forum. Acutally, search it. You'll find what you're looking for.

Another excellent program is CD Wave Audio Editor 1.9x.
The program is very small and is not a cpu or memory hogger.

From my experience it does an excellent job splitting to the hundredths of a second. But I mostly use it to record my own mixes.
