.avi to .mp3 Format

Sup guys im a little stuck...what program can i use to convert avi. files to mp3...any suggestions would be wonderful thanks

Hi, u can slip the audio from the video with Sound Forge or 4U Avi Mpeg Converter, is shareware but maybe works for 15 days or something.

u could convert avi to wav using videomach, then convert the wav to mp3...

well, if you can play the .avi with sound already, then open a recording program and arm a track. now just set the recording input to mp3/wav or any other setting that will allow you to capture the audio. start recording and then start the .avi.

I think you could also try www.dbpoweramp.com - Music Converter

It has a truckload of codecs to convert between formats. It does require you to pay about €14 for the mp3 encoder (latest LAME Enc). I did buy this little piece of software and have never looked back since
