I liked the bit from 0:41-1:08, think that could have potential... but not really feeling the rest of the tune. For a first effort though good stuff!

Yo man, I like it! The thirds in the bass take some getting used to, and I would suggest putting them on another instrument in the lower bands. The kick is subtle and could use a LITTLE high frequency boost. Bass sounds awesome. The break at :45, I loved it!
