when some af yall are spinning some trance and you are doing a set and not a club. what style of music do and then progress from there to create all the energy later on in the set..

Depends on the DJ...

For me it would be slow to fast (not bpm wise but the song itself) like at the starting something like..... 'Why?' and then later on something like 'Above the clouds' or something like that.

type of tune, what kind of elements in the song (hard soft, etc etc) tempo, genre, pumpiness, feeling vibe, i dunno whatever

i generally progress from smoother prog to more energetic trance, then maybe into hard trance or tech trance, and then techno. all depends on my mood and what i feel like spinning
