Looking for an Agent to represent me...

I've benn DJing for about six years. I play local places and a few parties in NYC/Philly. I just seem to get caught up with promoters and agents that are full of shit or just looking to use you. I want to find an Agent that I can work with. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice.
