Help me plz :-) Trains in the UK

I'm thinking about going to the Armin Only @ September 24th in Birmingham.

The problem is, that I have to fly to London because there are no planes on Saturday going to Birmingham.

But I have to get from London to Birmingham.

It would be kind of you if anyone can help me out.

I'm looking for the cheapest way to get from London to Birmingham. I will probably arrive at London at 20:00.

Just checked thetrainline.com and I've only found a train which costs 88 pounds which is too expensive for me.

Are there any trains that are cheaper? They don't need to be that fast and it's ok if I have to change trains some times.

Any help would be really great from you!!!

www.megabus.com can get you there for £1 if you don't mind zero leg room and a sore ass by the time you get there...it's only for a couple of hours so that would be my option. Note though that the megabus station is not the normal Victoria coach station, though it is just round the corner from it (Bulleid Way or something).

Virgin Trains are waaaay to expensive, Look at Chiltern Railways - http://www.chilternrailways.co.uk/ It takes a bit longer but it is waaay cheaper (even more at the moment due to tescos paying for half your ticket!)

They go to Moor St Station which is just up the road from Gods.

Chiltern Trains is the cheapest deal. You should be able to get a return ticket from London to Birmingham Snow Hill for £15.

I live in Birmingham, I know these things!!

Yeah but its 10 times cheaper than virgin... Costs me £15 Return to go to london for a weekend out and i dont have to pre-book tickets, worry about getting the right train, i just turn up and go... its so much easier! Plus the virgin trains are like sitting in a dildo, plastic and vile at least with a chiltern train you get a seat with a table, plenty of room, window to look out etc. Plus its only about 30mins longer... which aint that bad

Sorry but i wont use virgin ever after having to stand from London to Coventry one friday nite. They suck donkey balls

Well i use them all the time, their trains are MUCH more comfortable than them pikey chiltern ones. Pre book tickets? I jus turn up & purchase on the day, granted i have a railcard but still you dont need to pre-book.
