USB 2.0 sound card or Motherboard install?

I'll be residing in India for a few years and need to replace a defective sound card that came on my Intel Board. The highest end cards available out here are the creative audigy 2 series. I'm deciding between the Audigy 2 NX which connects via USB and the Audigy 2 ZS which connects via motherboard.
