This is why I want a synth (but can't afford one.. right now at least)

[EDIT]DOH, wrong forum.. could someone move it please?[/EDIT]

I pretty much explained it all in the topic

It's a sample of a clip i made solely with samples (and the TS404) in fruityloops.

Now this is in no way a song, you will notice the main melody comes out of nowhere!, i did that on purpose (cos it's a clip) :P

anyways, comments are what a posted this for, so give me some!

thanks
Dave.

P.S. Sorry for the low quality, i know a lot of you are on here with dial-up so i wanted to make it easy for you guys to download it,
and for the broadband people, put up with it! :P

yea sweet man

i dont usually use the rimshot but it gives the song more kick, when i turn it off it sounds like the song is missing something.

(listen to the one in: svenson & gielen - Twisted (Svenson and Gielen Energy Mix))

i have tried tweaking it with fruity's effects.. but it doesnt sound very good.. they are weak :/

Ha, that's funny, I just listened to that track while judging the trance addict mix competition!

anyway, yeah, fruity loops is fun, but it lacks the phatness that I want.

my roomate just bought a yamaha motif6, he loves it. that thing sound PHAT. specially when he plays it all night while I am trying to sleep.

I think with the hardware Dave you should get a recording deal in no
time
BTW is there a off note at the 26 sec mark on that sample?

Ok I made it

Click on the link to hear what your hard synth sample sounds like when put thru ESI filters! (yes yes I nicked the melody of obscura for that)
