okay.. i'm trying to make my bass synth in reason, however, when i get it to sound the way i want it to, it will put out bass on the higher notes, but it looses bass when it plays lower notes. what setting to i have to adjust to make all notes equally bassy?

why don`t you go to a sample-site and just download some basses

I know this isn`t original but if you really can`t make them yourself, or if there isn`t anyone that reply`s to your thread at ta.com , it`s worth downloading some

bass can be a strange thing at times, most of the time the higher bass
notes will stand out of the mix more then the lower, its all to do with the human hearing range of about 20-20000hz, being under 20hz you will only feel it not hear it.

If you bassline note let say its at 80hz, then drops to 60hz, the 60hz one will sound softer cause its closer the zone where most people can't hear.

also it might depend on you speakers, some have higher out puts at different levels.

slap a parametric EQ on your bass and keep boosting lowrange stuff until it sounds the way you want. or else go find a "bass maximizer" plugin which does almost the same thing.
