Well I just got reason a few days ago, and I know practically nothing abt it... LUckily im beginning to understand the program a little (I found Piano Roll today yikes ) well anyway. Id like to know lots of things abt reason.
Firstly: does reason support VST plugins? and If yes what are some good VST-s to use with reason.
Then Id like to know is there any way, how I could control 'PHASER FX' I mean I love the sound it creates, but I want to make it do it when I want to, not when it chooses to...
haha pretty insane text huh? My english is far from perfect

No. It doesn't support VSTi and DXi. But if you still want to learn about plugins, check out http://www.kvr-vst.com .
Fruity Loops 3.3 on the other hand supports VSTi, DXi and Buzz machines as well. More info on Buzz machines at http://www.buzzmachines.com .

Search for "Event Editor" in the help file. It's not impossible it's connected with the piano roll or the playlist in some way.

Well Its me again I seem to be a lazy bastard who doesant have time to rtfm
anyway heres my question:
I used the drum computer, and I made a pretty cool beat. I used 2 drumcomps infact.. anyway how can I "build the beat up?" I mean all trance songs begin like only with a basedrum. Then along come the claps and laterz other stuff... not all in one time..
the other question is also regarding drums: everytime I press play, also RUN (from drummachine) is going of.. I mean sometimes I want to have a breakdown but it suxx if beat is playing during that time hehe
So basically Im asking how to better control the drum machine?
*wishes he had a midi keyboard, because pianorolling isnt very fun... *

well to build up u gotta use the piano roll for REDRUM...its not exatly a piano roll...its more like all the drum sample on different lines and u can set when each is being played....
another cool feature is teh BACK RACK....just press TAB and u'll see the back rack of all your devices...pretty cooll thing but to understand it u gotta play with it, mostly its common sence, if you know how to hook up your mixer and decks u'll get this.

the 16 step sequencer on the "drumcomputer" is if you're into TR-style programming. If you're into "normal" sequencer programming you can use the drumroll thing. It's just what u like better.
