well in just a little over twenty-four hours me and 7 of my good friends will be landing in ibiza!!!! i thought id just stop by to share my happiness and excitement with my TA buddies like we all did before before WMC. Here's the lineup were looking at:

Tuesday August 9 - Still undecided between Carl Cox and John Digweed at Space or Paul Oakenfold and AVB at Amnesia. Help!!!

Wednesday August 10 - Erick Morillo at Pacha. I might break out if he sux (I hear sometimes he does) and catch Timo Maas at DC10.

Thursday August 11 - No doubt about this one - Cream's 10th Anniversary at Amnesia: Tiesto and PVD!!!!

Friday August 12 - Originally planned as a rest night but now we've all decided to hit up Made in Italy at Amnesia.

Saturday August 13 - BBC's Live Broadcast feturing Pete Tong, Erick Morillo, Nic Fanciulli, Above & Beyond and many more!!! Tha bomb!!!

Sunday August 14 - Most of my friends are going to see Judge Jules and Lisa Lashes but Im not a big fan of either, so instead I will be going to see Sander K at Pacha. Space has an excellent lineup that nite as well...

Monday August 15 - Manumission...kool.

Tuesday August 16 - All my friends except Danny will be gone by this time but we decided to stick around an extra nite to see Carl Cox and Norman Cook (Fatboy Slim) spin at Space. This makes me think that maybe I should see Oakey and AVB the first nite even though I'm a bit more of a house-head these days...

Well should be an awesome trip. We're hitting up Barcelona and Rome after Ibiza so Ill be sure to post some pics upon returning. Peace!!!

Hey, I went to Ibiza last summer and totally ROCKED it, so here are my 2 cents:

Tuesday: CARL COX CARL COX CARL COX!!!!!! Hands down amazing!!! Get there early though because he plays from 10-12/12:30 then whoever the other DJ is and he comes back around 3:30/4:00. Carl Cox single handedly set the mood for my trip last year because he was the first DJ I saw as well. Just wonderful, energetic house/techno set with him saying shitr like "Aww, you're looking good out there Space, C'mon!"

Wednesday: Morillo is the best bet. Pacha is a little bit stuffy of a crowd, but his shit is RAW!! Makes you forget about the stiff-upper-lippers and just get FOoOoOoNKY!

Thursday: Went to the PvD/Tiesto @ Cream show last year. HOLY FUCKING SHIT DUDE!!! Absolutely got destroyed! my legs were so sore afterwards I almost had to crawl to the bus stop

Friday: Absolutly take a rest. See the island. On top of being the mecca of dance music, it's also an incredibly beautiful island with tons of other things to do.

Saturday: Great idea

Sunday: I went to Judgement Sunday and it was great. Can't go wrong with Sander either though, but Pacha will be more expensive.

Monday: Perfect! Get ready for an absolutly deviant night. Privilege is its own WORLD. Explore it all, but don't miss the naked sex slaves running around the main stage. Truly NAUGHTY! Absolute modern day Babylon. DO NOT MISS MANUMISSION FOR ANY REASON! Trust me, it is as unmissable as Cream!

Some final tips:

-If you haven't gotten a hotel yet, the cheapest ones are in San Antonio

-Make your way down to San Antonio to watch the sun set every night. Perfect way to get it started.

-Every party has a pre-party at one of the bars in San An or Ibiza town. Go to them. It's a great way to meet people, get drinks before the club robs you, and meet the DJ. Most of the time the main DJ comes out for a 1 1/2 hour set to get people hyped. It's a great chance to say "hi" and get photo opps. I met Picotto, Oakey, and Jules through that.

-Buy as many Ibiza memoirs and take as many photos as POSSIBLE. It may get to a point where you think you have enough, but you just don't (trust me) and when will be the next time you go. The photos will probably serve as the main source of recollection as well

-Food is cheap there. You can save alot by eatting sandwiches and the like rather than expensive dinners.

-The Disco bus is also a great way to meet people. Cheap too

Was the music cutting edge? No, it was alot of summer anthems, but the vibe was just fun as hell!!! Plus, would you really consider passing up going to the largest club in the WORLD???

Just shit talking here but I thought the whole reason why we stayed for eight days was to catch both shows on both Tuesdays. Holy shit - what a concept!!! If we were to only stay a week I would bow down to Carl myself and you know this. Even if Erick Morill is not on top of his game- he still is one of house's best djs. On Friday, you'll see what the f*ck the deal is...take it from the veterans, thats all I gotta say. As for Judgement and Sander...thats a last minute ordeal. You're hitting up Rome- you never told me that! Everything else is all good. Ohhh and yeah- don't test my knowledge on Ibiza again bitch.
