Lightning Storm
It's your friendly Iowa State weather guy here. last night we had a lightning and thunderstorm come through the middle of iowa, and i managed to capture the following pictures from my balcony.
the cross looks really cool, in a weird apacolyptic sort of way...

A similar lightning storm that hit Wisconsin last night knocked out the Intarweb at my apartment and fried my desktop
Oh well... Renters insurance to the rescue, huzzah!
