ill try to help a little:
the cdj200 is a great deal, has great specs etc. i dunno but it just feels ghetto; i mean it feels as if the jog wheel can pop out at any moment. i still plan to buy a pair anyway
id also like to hear about the denons.

i got a dns-1000, and im pretty happy with it. decent looping effects, i barely use them though. the pitch seems to hold real well if i can actually match them...lol (still not used to it). the jog wheel works well and is solid doesnt feel like it going to fly off.
Cant say iv had alot of use with them but i prefere the 800 to the 3000 mostly because the feel of the platter and buttons. Its all i can add since i only was messing round wif em in a store.

i dont really have any brand preference but it just happens to be that my first setup was all pioneer. for $1000 i got 2 cdj-200's, a djm707, and a coffin case from road ready. i did a lot of research before my purcahse and it really is hard to beat that setup for the money. I also considered the denons but for someone like me who doesnt care about scratch emulation the cdj-200 is an enormous value.

to me its a toss-up between the CDJ800 and the DNS3000. the autolooping on the pioneer is really nice. but i like the sampler and the active platter on the denon. here i vote denon.
cdj200 vs. dns1000. if we are gonna talk about the platters, neither of them feel very sturdy, but the pioneer seems better than the denon. and the loop cutter on the pioneer is AWESOME! CDJ200 all the way
